The 2011 Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio were presented at a luncheon ceremony, hosted by the Ohio Arts Council and Ohio Citizens for the Arts Foundation, on May 11, 2011 at the Columbus Athenaeum in downtown Columbus. The ceremony was held in conjunction with Arts Day and honored the 2011 Governor's Awards winners and members of the Ohio Legislature. Winners received an original work of art by Dayton photographer Francis Schanberger, and enjoyed a Welcome Address by Ohio's First Lady Karen Kasich.
